Our Monday classes offer options for those new to this dance and for those with more experience. Each class includes that night's practica where you can practice with other students and our instructors.

Welcome to Brazilian Zouk (7:15-8:15pm)
Learn some of the basic steps and lead/follow technique for Brazilian Zouk - no experience or partner necessary. This beginner-friendly class will get you dancing right away whether you're new to social dance or you've been dancing for awhile. Drop-ins are welcome any week, but we start a new cycle on the first Monday of every month and cover a set of fundamentals each month.
Solo Footwork & Body Movements (7:15-8:15pm)

Solo Footwork & Body Movements (7:15-8:15pm)
Join us for a study and exploration of Brazilian Zouk’s rich vocabulary of footwork and body movements. In this class, we’ll dive into the technique of different basic steps, deepen our understanding, learn different forms of execution, and investigate ways we can play with them.
On top of that, we’ll also practice Brazilian Zouk’s signature body movements, applying them to the footwork and the music.
We’ll dance solo to improve our confidence, body awareness, and experience when dancing with a partner.
Knowledge of the basic steps of Brazilian Zouk is recommended for this class.
Fundamentals Variations (8:30-9:30pm)
Develop your dance by learning variations of fundamentals. This partner class for people who are comfortable with Brazilian zouk basics will help you take your dancing to the next level. We'll focus on lead/follow technique as well as fun variations you can use in your social dancing.
Practica (9:30-11pm)
Practice what you've learned in a safe environment - lights on, and you're free to ask questions of each other and instructors.
The practica is included with each of the drop-in classes, or you can come just for the practica.

The teachers for the Monday classes rotate each week from our District Zouk team.
