Our February-April cycle of progressive classes starts soon

Check out our schedule, plan your classes, and come dance with us.

Our progressive courses are the best way to learn. You're with a consistent group each week so each class can bulid on the previous classes.

We're offering our regular 8-week cycle of progressive classes in February with some of our usual classes and special offerings. Learn more about our classes and curriculum.

In preparation for our next cycle

Come to our Practica & Assessments to learn what's the best course for you to join.

As we prepare for our next cycle of progressive classes, we're holding practicas with assessments for current or interested students. If you're new to District Zouk classes or want to move up to a higher level, this is where you can get feedback on which class is the best fit. You can also use it like a mini private lesson to get feedback on your dancing.

Assessments and practicas will take place:
Monday, January 26
9:30-11:00pm
Wednesday, January 28
9:00-10:15pm
Monday, February 2
9:30-11:00pm
Wednesday, February 4
8:30pm-10:15pm

Assessments are an opportunity to get feedback on your dancing and on which class series would be the best choice for you.
If you decide to do an Assessment, here's how it works:

- the Assessments will be done simultaneously with the practica on the other side of the studio;
- we'll call the people who want to be assessed in the order of when you've arrived and checked in. Each person will dance two short songs with one of our instructors;
- at the end of the dances you'll receive verbal feedback on what you are doing well and what you can improve on, as well as which upcoming classes you can sign up for.

January Cycle

Our special 5-week cycle in January is almost over, but you can still join some classes. Learn more about it and get your tickets.

On Mondays

Monday is a special day for us. We have been running our Monday drop-in lessons since the start of District Zouk and you can join any Monday, all Mondays. You can start your Brazilian Zouk journey here!

Conditioning for Dancers

This 1-hour workout is designed specifically for Brazilian Zouk and Lambada dancers, and open to anyone who wants to build strength, mobility, and control to support their dancing. Using only your bodyweight, we’ll explore a fusion of ballet fundamentals, Horton technique, and functional conditioning. Expect core work, balance challenges, turns, and mobility drills that will not only strengthen your body but also make your dancing feel lighter, more fluid, and more grounded. Whether you’re looking to enhance your posture, improve your stamina, or refine the way your body supports partnerwork, this class will give you the tools to move with more freedom, inner strength, and ease on the dance floor. We recommend that you bring a yoga mat and socks for floor and across-the-floor exercises. On October 13, we're offering a trial class for only $10 so you can try out this new class with us. After that, classes are our usual class prices for Mondays, with the option to sign up for 8 weeks for a discounted bundle price.
