Our famous Technique & Drills course is back with an injection of stamina - we will be dancing non-stop! LET’S GO 💪

In this solo training course for both roles, Alisson will make you sweat and burn while we drill techniques from top to bottom to improve your confidence and build good habits for your dancing.

Alisson’s ‘Non-Stop Torture Sessions’ are famous worldwide, not only for making you feel amazing after each session, but because they simply work - good habits don’t lie!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each week we will work on new drills that will build up each week to the next. Some of them will be obviously from Brazilian Zouk, some from other dance styles, and some from Alisson’s crazy mix up of creation and inspiration from training with amazing coaches in a diverse range of styles.

These drills are not only good to create good habits for your dancing, but they are also a great way to build up your ‘zouk muscles’ … You know, those new muscles that you met when you started dancing Brazilian zouk? Yeah, they need to be awakened and strengthened!

If you haven’t done the previous District Zouk online Technique & Drills courses, our previous courses are available as an ‘add on’ at a discounted rate for anyone joining us this cycle.

IS THIS A SOLO OR A PARTNER COURSE? FOR LEADERS OR FOLLOWERS?

This is a solo course for followers and leaders, or any person who wants to learn useful drills to improve your body mechanics, isolation, flow, softness and lightness. Though, having some previous dance training can be helpful to get even more understanding of how things flow together, it is not mandatory.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN?

Brazilian Zouk is a versatile dance that has been influenced by many other solo and partner dance styles. A lot of those concepts and techniques are demanding and often not covered in a conventional Brazilian Zouk class. At District Zouk, we value all kinds of training and we are always looking out for what is missing, what is new, and how we can help the community become healthier, safer and stronger.

Solo training has been and will always be the key factor in becoming the best dancer you can be. Our instructors will ensure you will have the most effective methods and clear explanations. Also, we love questions and feedback during the classes.

This is also a way you can support our instructors, who teach dance as their full-time occupation, and they can support you during this time.
